Introduction
Concerned with the state of lore in the Fifth Empire, and recognizing the serious dangers of the total loss of information from external forces of national extermination, The Librarian convened The Council of loreposters to witness, record, gather, and preserve the histories of the Fifth Empire, so that they may remain for all time.
The Nations of The Council, heeding the call, began to send their chroniclers, indexers, scribes, photographers, remembrancers, poets, painters, and all manner of information collectors out into the Fifth Empire to exhort Nations to hand over their lore, so that it may be preserved.

History
Nestled between the rivers Swift and Bountiful, the great city of Ninua housed the grand library of Ashurbanipal. Belonging to ancient Babilim, a civilization in ruins for millennia, the great library was discovered by traders of Chalybea, who brought fragments of clay tablets to the historically impoverished New Addlebrandian Kingdom. Recognizing immediately the vast wealth of knowledge that must be contained in this most ancient of libraries, King Clovis I issued orders to Addlebrandian Archivists to form L'Occidental Recherche Enclave to take control of the site and establish a global headquarters for the international mission of preserving Fifth Empire lore.
Joined by Dixie Florida, Crumpetopia, Routcher, and Neu Arbuckle, the mission to preserve the lore of the Fifth Empire set about scouring the globe for obscure lore from nations. This mission has since been enhanced by Chernistiv who brought translation expertise completely unavailable to the founding members.
L.O.R.E. City is an ever growing city of stone in which the collected lore of the Fifth Empire is carved into every surface by the dedicated chroniclers who are expertly trained in precision high powered laser carving. The Grand Library is a vast megalithic structure that extends for kilometers underground in every direction, burrowing into the rocks providing ever increasing surface area on which to carve. Determined that the lore should never be lost, the site of L.O.R.E. was chosen for the enormous deposits of extremely hard granite in the region. Every block quarried from under the city is used to build the city on the surface, ensuring that no piece goes to waste.
